 Altre cop dimecres al Local Social, avui us deixo amb l'explicació de la nostra professora d'anglès. Ella fa dos grups d'anglès. Un grup de conversa i l'altre, avui exposat que estan al novell de Pre-intermediate. A veure si us animeu a venir a les seves classes!

Hello! My name's Joanna and I teach two of the English classes here in Campllong. I taught English for the British Council in Barcelona for 14 years and now I work as the editor for one of the British Council's websites which is a free site for teenagers to learn and practise English - LearnEnglish Teens. Hola, em dic Joanna  i aquí Campllong dono dues classes d'anglès. Els darrers 14 anys he fet de professora d'anglès al British Council de Barcelona i ara treballo com a editora per a una de les pàgines webs del British Council. The pre-intermediate group started in 2009 with a group of complete beginners. We started by learning some basic vocabulary like the alphabet, numbers, colours and then some simple phrases and expressions.

El curs Pre-intermediate va començar el 2009 amb un grup d'estudiants que no havien fet mai anglès. Vam començar amb el vocabulari més bàsic com ara l'alfabet, els números, els colors, i vam seguir amb frases i expressions senzilles.   

 Now the group has a good level of English and can speak in English for the whole 90 minutes of the class. :) This group has been a real pleasure to teach. It has been amazing to see some of the students make such good progress. Now, they can easily use their English when they travel and meet foreigners. 

El grup ha assolit un bon nivell d'anglès i poden parlar en anglès al llarg dels 90 minuts que dura la classe. Ha sigut un autèntic plaer ensenyar a aquest grup. És extraordinari veure el progrés que ha fet  algun dels estudiants. Ara poden utilitzar l'anglès que han après per a viatjar i  conèixer gent.  

 The focus of the class is usually on oral communication and vocabulary but we also learn grammar, practise listening and reading during the class. Every week there is option homework for the students and we have a Facebook page where extra activities are shared and students have an opportunity to practise their English with the teacher and the other students.  

A  les classes ens centrem en l'expressió oral i el vocabulari però també aprenem gramàtica, escoltem diàlegs i converses per millorar la comprensió i practiquem la lectura. Cada setmana es dona als estudiants la oportunitat d'endur-se una mica de feina a casa. Tenim una pàgina de Facebook on s'hi poden compartir activitats i els estudiants poden practicar l'anglès amb els seus companys i la seva professora.
